Easy & Delicious Dairy-free Parmesan

I really needed to find a way to make my own dairy-free parmesan when I saw what the cost was to buy it on-line. I researched the ingredient list of the brands for sale. They only contained a few ingredients! I began to experiment with a combination that best matched the flavor I liked. If you prefer not to add garlic powder, I'm sure it would still have a nice flavor. If you prefer to add onion powder, it can be added in place of the garlic powder or add half of each. What is wonderful, you can make it your own!
 
Dairy-free Grated Parmesan Cheese

1/4 cup ground roasted cashews
1/2 cup coconut flour
2 tablespoon nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon avocado oil

In a small mixing bowl, use a fork to mix until well blended. Store the dairy-free parmesan cheese in a small glass shaker or jar. Keep in refrigerator or freezer. I like to divide it; half in refrigerator and half in freezer until needed.

Note: If you have an allergy to tree nuts, the cashews can be replaced with all coconut flour.
