Autoimmune diseases can cause our bodies to react to certain foods. Each person is affected differently and can react to different foods depending on the type of autoimmune disease. Since my autoimmune diagnosis, I've had to re-create all my recipes to be gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, egg white-free, but not taste free!! I am currently experimenting how to make grain-free recipes. Making grain-free bread is very difficult trying to create a similar texture and taste of wheat bread. It takes much experimentation to come up with the best combination of ingredients to make it flavorful and soft in texture. I am trying to get the bread to rise without using eggs, which is not an easy feat! My neighbor tested it for me and said she really enjoyed the flavor even more than wheat bread and it looks similar to banana bread. I feel this may be the one! I will let you know soon!

My blog will contain many new recipes that are created for those who are dealing with inflammatory autoimmune disease. No matter what autoimmune diagnosis, the struggle is keeping inflammation down. So my goal is to create delicious recipes for those who have many food restrictions like myself. Also, I will be including recipes that replace refined sugars with healthy lower or "0" sugar options that will, in turn, lower the glycemic index. Many delicious low-glycemic recipes are in my cookbook, Treat Your Health (Revised Edition) as shown on my website: treatyourhealth.today and available for purchase on Amazon, Wal-Mart and other participating bookstores.

I look forward to sharing these recipes with you!
