Hello! Welcome to my website! My name is Joanne Marsh. I am the author of "Treat Your Health" low glycemic cookbook. It is a collection of classic recipes, which I grew up enjoying, but due to health issues could no longer have. I found a way to make them healthy and delicious without using cups of refined sugar, natural sugars or artificial sweeteners. This truly has been a labor of love and a gift to all those who have similar diet restrictions as myself. I include ways to make each recipe fit a variety of diets. I use my cookbook daily and have heard others who have purchased it, say the same. After the original publication came out, I was diagnosed with autoimmune disease and needed to further reduce sugar and wanted to include this information in the cookbook. I am happy to announce "Treat Your Health", Revised Edition is now available!
Each week I will share new recipes, tips and helpful ideas that I have learned from living with autoimmune disease. With much trial and error, I have found out what foods help reduce inflammation and what foods to avoid. I am happy to know there is a way to live a pain-free, energetic life, even now in my senior years. I look forward to sharing my journey with you!
