Simple & Delicious Noodles with Cheese

Skillet Noodles & Cheese 

1/4 cup butter
2 cups rotini noodles
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
2 cups water

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese*

In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, melt butter and saute uncooked rotini noodles and next 3 ingredients, stirring frequently a couple minutes. Stir in water; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer 10-15 minutes until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. If needed add more water. Note: A small amount of water should remain to mix with cheese to make a sauce. Stir in cheese until melted. Remove from heat. Can serve just as it is, or topped with fried hamburger and chopped onions or shredded BBQ beef.

*Dairy-free cheddar cheese also tastes great in this recipe.
