For a healthy protein snack that isn't full of sugar or artificial sweeteners, look no further! Enjoy this delicious low-sugar, low carb protein bar recipe.
Sugar-free Protein Bar
1/3 cup "0" sugar protein powder
3 tablespoons "0" powdered sugar substitute
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
1.4 teaspoon (pure) stevia
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional if using vanilla or cocoa flavored protein powder)
1/4 cup nut butter or sunflower seed butter
1/4 cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts*
Blend first eight ingredients until smooth. Add nuts and stir into mixture. Press mixture into quart-size pan and chill.
*Option: Roll mixture into ball and coat with additional nuts or seeds. When making a bar, coat with melted, sugar-free milk chocolate chips and top with additional nuts or seeds.
